Spokane

Dear Bubbas,
We had so much fun this weekend. We went to Spokane for my Masters graduation. Grammy came with us. We left early in the morning because we wanted to get to the Jump N Party before they closed. We made it in plenty of time. I think it was your favorite part of the trip. It was super fun. It was a warehouse full of different types of bounce houses and slides. They even let the adults go down the slides and bounce! The three of you thought that it was fantastic when Mommy or Daddy would go down the slide. Kaylee climbed up to the long slide about thirty times. I don't know how her little legs held up.
You all loved the hotel. We got a one bedroom suite. We gave Grammy, Hunter, and Connor the bedroom while Daddy, Kaylee and I slept on the pull out couch. It wasn't the best sleep in the world for anyone. The kids didn't sleep well because they were excited. Grammy didn't sleep well because Connor was stuck to her like glue. Mommy didn't sleep well because Kaylee thrashes around like crazy! You three were so excited about every little thing we did. It made the trip really fun. Graduation went really well. Connor and Hunter stayed very quiet. Kaylee started crying at one point, and I knew instantly from the front of the auditorium that the baby crying behind me was Kaylee. Everyone took turns taking her outside. It was a long ceremony for her to sit through.  When it was finished I got to take pictures with everyone outside. Hunter refused to take a good picture. He didn't even want me to hold him. He did not like my black gown. At the reception lunch I took my gown off and I had on my floral dress. He came over to me and began stroking my dress saying,"Oh Mommy! You are wearing flowers now!" I asked him if he wanted a picture with Mommy now that she was in flowers and he said he did, so I finally got one!
On Sunday we went to Cat Tales. It was a super, super small zoo that had all sorts of big cats like leopards, tigers, cougars, lions. It also had a bear. Daddy says it is so they can say they have " lions, and tigers, and Bears!" Hunter was thrilled to get to see the big cats. He liked looking at the lion the most, but in the end chose a tiger out of the gift shop. Connor was bored out of his mind. He was ready to go home and play with his toys. I know this because he told us repeatedly. Kaylee wasn't super impressed, although she has a good time no matter where she is.
I was super impressed with the car rides. Everyone was on their best behavior and even slept a little. It was such a huge improvement for traveling past. I think we're in a better traveling stage!
As always the three of you were pretty excited to be back at home. You ran around playing with all the toys you hadn't seen in the last three days. When the excitement of the trip had finally worn off the three of you crashed and you slept in today until almost 8am!
I'm not sure when we get to travel again, but hopefully it is really soon! I love you and I'm so glad that you were there with me on my big day!
