Bones

Notice the bear and the bone. We're getting so many comfort objects that you're running out of hands! This is when we were leaving the dentist. "CHEESE!"

Dear Connor,
You are obsessed with bones. Specifically Spike's Bone. It has become your new comfort object. You take that bone with you everywhere. You even took it into the bath last night. Every now and then Hunter gets his hands on it and you panic. We have to let him play with it too, so Grammy went on Amazon and bought a spare Spike bone so that you could each have your own. It should be here any day. It can't get here soon enough. You won't go to bed without your bone, you won't get in the car without your bone, you won't even eat dinner without your bone. When we go to Grammy's house you get the bones out of the dog bag. Those bones smell like dog treats so as soon as you fall asleep I steal it and give it to Missy.
When you were about six months old I wanted you to carry a little green bear around with you. Hunter had a matching blue one. I thought it would be the perfect comfort object instead of the random toys that you were trying to haul around with us. You never would take the bear. NOW you take the bear everywhere we go along with Spike's bone. You even chose the green one. It's so stinkin' cute to see you carrying your bear around. The bone confuses people, the bear is cute! =0)
You are the sweetest child. You always give Mommy and Kaylee random kisses. You'll just walk over and kiss me or when we're snuggling in bed you'll sit up really quick to kiss my cheek. I love it.
You love your Daddy a lot right now. Every Monday morning when Daddy goes back to work I hear, "Daddy at? Daddy at?" all day long. The minute he comes home you want him to play with you. The other night you didn't get to play with Daddy much and so you woke up at 5am to play with him while he was getting ready for work! Mommy was not thrilled, but what can I do?
Your starting to learn more words than I can count and do a pretty good job of using sentences. We have you repeat after us a lot to help you out, but you've made so much progress lately!
You still love Buzz. If I put on your Buzz pajama's you won't take them off until bath time. That has made going to the store very interesting lately!
We went to the dentist the other day. You are cavity free! You cried the whole time, but as we were leaving I asked you to take a picture. With tears still drying on your face you turned to the camera and said, "CHEESE!"
I love you so much! Thank you for the random kisses and for being so sweet.
Mommy
