Dear Hunter,
Hi buddy. You’ve been a little sad this week. I think that you are finally getting upset with Mommy for spending time with Kaylee. Yesterday you threw the biggest tantrum I’ve ever seen. You were mad because you wanted me to lay down with you while you fell asleep for your nap, but Kaylee started crying and wanted to eat. You threw yourself down on the ground and started kicking your feet and punching the air. I asked you to quit and told you to go get in bed, but you came up to the baby gate and started trying to tear it down. I went into the living room to feed Kaylee. I was hoping that you would give up and go to sleep. You didn’t. I finished feeding Kaylee, rocked her to sleep, and put her in the swing. By this point (about ten minutes) you were crying so hard that you were sobbing. I went into your room and asked you to apologize for throwing a fit. You did. I stayed with you until you fell asleep but even in your sleep you were sobbing. I felt so bad.
We’ve been having some fun though too! You’ve been sitting on the potty lately. You like wearing the pull ups now, but only get to wear one if you sit on the potty.
We were playing flashcards yesterday and I held up a picture of a chicken. I asked you what it was and you smiled and said, “Oh! Nugget!”
