Surprise!

Dear Hunter and Connor,

Mommy and Daddy are having a baby! I know this is going to be an adjustment for us all, but it's going to be so wonderful- you'll see. So we have some new goals that I'm going to need your help on....

1. You two have got to sleep in your own bed by the end of the summer. Pretty soon Mommy is going to be too big to share her half of the bed with you two! I promise we'll keep your bed pushed up against ours for as long as you want, but you're going to have to learn to stay in your bed.

2. Mommy and Daddy have to start saving money like crazy... the plus side is Mommy is going to have some time at home with you next school year... the downside is you're not going to be getting as many treats at the store as you have been lately. This means more "looking days" and less "shopping days".

3. You're going to have to give Mommy lots of love for awhile. She wants as much one on one time with you as she can get.... so more hugs and kisses!

4. When the baby gets here you're going to have to go easy on it. I know you'll want to hug and kiss and snuggle this baby as much as you can but we'll have to remember that the baby will be much smaller than you and defensless against the bear hug!
